  • SillyHacks is a 12-hour hackathon hosted by SFU Surge.
  • My team and I were tasked to create a Silly project to celebrate the spirit of April Fools' Day.
    Our Idea — Aura Monitor
  • A browser extension that detects user keystrokes and classifies text aura using a tailored NLQ model.
  • When "negative aura" is detected, a random pool of images and sound effects pops up on screen.
  • Gemini generates a humorous roast of the detected text, spoken by an Anime Girl voice via ElevenLabs.

    Our Idea — RBC (Rational Budgeting Calendar)
  • Connects your calendars and bank account to create smart, adaptive daily spending limits.
  • AI-powered budgeting engine: classifies income and spending, splits budgets by event, redistributes unused limits intelligently.
  • Gamification: goal tracking, daily streaks, friend leaderboards, and a rank system based on savings efficiency.

  • Redesign the NewGen UI with Online Banking Connection and AI Voice Detection.
  • Establish secure data privacy via physical servers at client HQ and smaller sample control to reduce lag.
  • Tailored support for NA clients in Asia: optimized Payment and Travel Integrations.

    Our Product — Let's Go Doggo!
